We are so grateful to have moved our 30 girls with Save the Young Girls Foundation from their cramped, one room home at Rokupa Wharf. While our girls now sleep in beds every night, the children and people who remain living on the wharf are at the same risks as the girls were prior to moving.
Cleaning up the wharf area will eliminate the trash, human and animal feces, and insects which cause a great deal of illness and disease amongst the residents.
